Weight Watches SA
Brief / Background
Weight Watches SA is a household name when it comes to healthy weight loss programs. The challenge for membership arises during the Winter months and then again before Summer. Health24 run a regular online campaign to drive membership through the banner campaign.
We were commissioned to design and develop an online banner campaign that would communicate the concept of weight loss in an unexpected and interesting manner.
The Solution
We had loads of fun creating a cursor that lost weight! The strongest way for us to portray the idea of weight loss was through visually illustrating the result of the Weight Watches program. The campaign consisted of 3 variants: a calendar, a measuring tape and a menu - each published to a different target market. When mousing over each the cursor would literally slim down.
The Result
Over the campaign period the banners recorded 127 008 impressions with 1 727 clicks. That is a click rate of 1.36. Looks like people are keen to get in shape.
