Great Scott!

Posted by Clint Bryce on 6 July 2010 at 1:08 pm

Today is the day that Marty McFly arrived in the future after hitting  88mph in his pimped out Delorean in 1985. When you leave work today the streets will be inundated with hoverboards. Cool!

roller coaster kingdom

Posted by Clint Bryce on 18 December 2009 at 1:41 pm

It was our year end party on Tuesday and we decided to bid adieu to 2009 with the real version of roller coaster kingdom: ratanga junction. Of course the choice of roller coaster wasn’t accidental – it’s been a roller coaster of a year for SpacePatrolCar with a few Loerie and Bookmark finalists as well [...]

Agency of the Week

Posted by Clint Bryce on 25 August 2009 at 8:59 am

You can imagine our surprise when we received a mail from The Digital Edge asking us if we wanted to be interviewed as the agency of the week – us? really? Absolutely! Already fans of the regular PodCast series we wouldn’t miss this for the world. It’s short. It’s sweet. It’s the elevator test. Did [...]

Standing on the Edge

Posted by Clint Bryce on 28 July 2009 at 3:37 pm

I had the pleasure of talking to Saul Kropman last week Friday about the digital judging process for this years Loerie Awards. I am big fan of The Digital Edge, and – apart from receiving a HUGE 3G card bill from Vodacom after finding out that I had enabled automatic podcast download settings – make a [...]

Judgement Day

Posted by Clint Bryce on 28 July 2009 at 1:50 pm

The hard work is over .. and all the Loerie finalists have been announced. Last week Thursday the digital panel met at The Grand Daddy hotel to cast their votes. This year the Loerie committee entered the digital age with the procedure by introducing electronic judging. Each jury member received an iTouch device (basically an [...]

Lonesome Dave Ferguson

Posted by Clint Bryce on 10 June 2009 at 10:06 am

With the aid of a loop pedal, a harmonica, beat-boxing skills and a syrupy voice, Dave Ferguson is a veritable one-man band. His live shows are rapidly becoming legendary, and every performance is different, with each track been made piece by piece in real time. We had the pleasure of rocking to Dave last night [...]

Between 10and5 interview

Posted by Clint Bryce on 29 May 2009 at 2:52 pm

I had the honour of answering a few questions from the team behind 10and5 this week. It was great because it gave me the opportunity to climb on board the DeLorean and take a look at what I’ve been through. We’ve come a long way us digital plebs … yes indeed. Could we finally be [...]

Atteeen…shun!

Posted by Clint Bryce on 11 May 2009 at 12:57 pm

We’re thrilled to have our dedicated patrol team expand yet again with the introduction of Umar, who’s recently joined the ranks to bring some much-needed Flash skills on board. This morning we provided him with the necessary SpacePatrolCar Survival Manual, a set of headphones (he’s gonna need em) and dozens of red metallic balloons to [...]

Everything is amazing … nobody is happy.

Posted by Clint Bryce on 26 February 2009 at 11:18 pm

We’ve been truly inspired recently at the annual International Design Indaba. An event which celebrates the human creative spirit as much as it suggests we should all self-reflect and realise that we are an amazing design. Yes. WE are the most incredible design. Nothing can put this observation more perfectly than this clip … recently [...]
